SHILLONG:
The state government has appointed National People’s Party (NPP) leader James Sangma as chairman of Meghalaya Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC), an official source said on April 5.
Notably, Sangma had unsuccessfully contested the Dadenggre seat in the recently concluded Assembly polls as TMC’s Rupa Marak emerged victorious.
