Nongpoh:
The Confederation of Ribhoi people (CoRP) Nongpoh Circle, on June 3, launched a tree plantation programme at the Pahamshken village, Ri Bhoi.
As a part of Van Mahotsav and World Environment Week celebration, the residents of different villagers, students of the Pahamshken RCLP School along with the headman, Cyril Maring, the headmaster of the school Celestine Syngkli among others planted 300 saplings.
Notably, the programme was organised to celebrate the 25 anniversary of the organisation (CoRP).
