Tura, March 24: Palm Sunday was celebrated with religious fervour across the Garo Hills with devotees flocking to take part in processions held in Catholic churches while young children at Tura Baptist Church depicted the historic scenes of the entry of Lord Jesus Christ to Jerusalem.

Sunday began with Christians walking to church in the morning holding palm leaves to mark the religious event.
