NONGPOH:
As part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations 2022, the office of the District Sports Officer, in collaboration with District Administration, Ri Bhoi will organize the “Fit India Freedom Run 3.0″ for both Men & Women (Above 14 years of age) on October 20.
The freedom run will be flagged off at 6:00 am from Jyntru to NSCA Indoor Hall, Umlyngkdait, Nongpoh, and the district administration has invited all interested participants to take part in the run.
Cash prize of Rs 7,000, Rs 5000, Rs 3000 will be given to the first, second and third place winners, besides special prices for oldest participants in both male and female categories.
Interested participants can register themselves at the office of the District Sports Officer, Ri-Bhoi District, Nongpoh, during office hours on or before October 19.
