PYNURSLA:
The Search and Rescue Team is still trying to retrieve the bodies of two persons who were crushed under piles of boulders triggered by a landslide at Rngain, along the Shillong-Dawki road near Pynursla on April 14 evening.
While one vehicle was crushed under the boulders, another had a narrow escape, though minor damages and injuries of passengers was reported.
One of the two occupants of the crushed vehicle is believed to be the Rangbah Shnong of Wahlyngkhat, Seiborlang Jaktung, while the identity of the other is yet to be confirmed.
The occupants of the other vehicle, numbering nine, were immediately shifted to the Pynursla Community Health Centre for treatment last night.
