The Rynjah Herbal Care Society on July 29, hosted an empowering one-day workshop at Pyndengumiong Community Hall, Mairang. With a focus on the significance of organic medicine and the art of planting medicinal plants, the society also distributed medicinal plant samples to all the attendees.
Syiem of Hima Nongkhlaw, Presstar Syiemlieh, Dr Philing Rynjah (Founder of the Rynjah Herbal Care Society), V. Kharmawlong (Project Executive NRLM Mairang C&RD Block), and enthusiastic residents from various Mairang villages, graced the event.
The speakers lauded the Society for this transformative programme, particularly highlighting the training on cultivating medicinal plants.
Presstar Syiemlieh expressed heartfelt congratulations, saying, “I applaud the Rynjah Herbal Care Society for its achievements in helping many people through its medicines and treatment techniques. I wish you all the best for your future endeavours in providing traditional treatment and medicine.”
During the programme, Vincent Nianglang, a Society member, shared, “In the past, we relied solely on traditional healers for medicine. Fever, malaria, cholera, and many other health issues could be cured with just a few herbs, and we were certain of the lack of side effects with traditional healing methods.”
Dr Philing Rynjah extended a warm invitation to Mairang residents, encouraging them to register with the Society. “They will receive advanced training on preparing traditional medicine and healing methods, along with free medicinal plant samples.”
Rynjah concluded with confidence, “We have successfully treated hundreds of cancer cases, thanks to the trust placed in our treatment methods.”
