SHILLONG:
In a first, students from three schools bore witness to the proceedings of the Summer Session of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) on June 24.
The schools included — St Paul HS school from Marbisu, Little Star English School from Mawhati, and Mary Mount HS School from Mawlai Mawtawar.
The objective of allowing students to attend the proceedings was to provide them with a platform to witness the functioning of the District Council.
