Shillong, Mar 12: In connection with Saturday’s IED blast in Shillong, four more arrest were made last night by Meghalaya police.
Police arrested the accused from Ribhoi involved in the IED blast at Syndicate Bus Station near Them Mator, Themïewmawlong, Shillong.
According to sources, in a joint operation, the Ri Bhoi police and the East Khasi Hills police arrested four more individuals- two from Umsning and two from Nongpoh and a significant amount of explosives were recovered from their possession.
As per information from source, the arrested individuals were planning to carry the bomb blast in Nongpoh, Ri Bhoi.
Sources say reveal that the police are on the hunt to arrest more suspects involved in the blast.
