SHILLONG:
One youth Paul Lyngdoh Mawphlang found and rescued one baby owl from his residence at Lower Lachumiere near the office of the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) on June 15.
After rescuing the owlet, Mawphlang immediately handed the bird over to Wildlife officials.
The youth also urged the people to rescue and hand over such creatures to officials and not to abuse or eat them.
