SHILLONG:
Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, on January 13, informed that the Software Technology Park of India (STPI) in Shillong, which is currently spread over 11,000 sq ft will be commissioned by March 2023.
He informed that this STPI will focus on online gaming. “We see Shillong and Meghalaya as a centre of excellence for entrepreneurs and start-ups in online gaming,” Chandrashekhar said.
He said that the first centre of excellence in online gaming in all of India will be set up in Shillong in the next couple of months.
