SHILLONG:
State BJP Spokesperson, M. Kharkrang, on January 17, stated that the party is gearing up to address pending issues of the State, such as the Inner Line Permit (ILP) and the inclusion of Khasi and Garo languages in the eighth schedule, during an upcoming meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Kharkrang confirmed the party’s efforts to secure an appointment and mentioned that a meeting is scheduled for the evening to discuss and finalise the issues to be raised with the Union Home Minister during his visit on Thursday.
