The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) released the term one results of higher secondary, secondary, madrasah fazil (Class 12), and madrasah alim (Class 10) on February 28.
Addressing a press conference, President of TBSE, Bhabatosh Saha said, “Due to Covid-19 situation, it was decided to conduct the higher secondary and secondary examination in two phases. Therefore, the results announced today is for term 1, wherein pass or fail has not been mentioned, as the final result will be announced only after the term two exams.”
He further added that exams this year are completely different from previous years as scores of term 1 and term 2 will be combined to arrive at the final result.
The candidates may find their exam scores on the website tbse.tripura.gov.in.
He said that the governement had decided to conduct exams in two phases in 2021-22 due to the Covid-19 situation.
“Higher Secondary and madrasah fazil Term-1 examination of TBSE started on December 15, 2021, and ended on January 7, 2022, whereas secondary and madrasah alim term-1 examination of TBSE started on December 16, 2021, and ended on December 29, 2021. This year there were 42,282 candidates for secondary examination including regular, continue, compartmental, and external. of them, 20,776 were male candidates and 22,506 were female candidates. A total of 28,931 candidates apperaed for the for the higher secondary examination”, the president of TBSE told reporters.
He informed that there were 27 Divyangan candidates in the Secondary examination, and 21 candidates in higher secondary examination. He also informed that if the situation is fine, then the Term-2 examination will be held on April 18.
