SHILLONG:
Days after 26 members of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) youth wing, Pynursla block left the party to join the National People’s Party (NPP), the TMC youth wing said that they do not recognise the members who recently abandoned the party.
It may be reminded soon after leaving TMC, the 26 youth members alleged the party leadership and its media team – IPAC of considering grassroot leaders as followers.
Rubbishing the claims, the president of the TMC youth wing in Pynursla, Namshai Ryngksai asserted that there is no rift in the block unit of the party as alleged.
He further informed that only three people are in the process to be inducted as leaders of the youth wing, adding that no active member in the youth wing has joined other parties till date.
