NONGPOH:
Two students from Assam Don Bosco University, Sonapur campus died in a tragic road accident at the Urania flyover Bridge in Jorabat on December 15.
The incident, which occurred around 3 PM, involved a collision between a motorcycle bearing registration number AS 01EJ 7870, carrying three students returning from their university towards Guwahati, and a parked truck with registration NL 01AE 1887.
Tragically, the collision proved fatal, instantly claiming the lives of two students and leaving the third with severe injuries.
Prompt response from Jorabat traffic police led to their swift transport to GMCH Assam for urgent medical care. Despite efforts, the medical team declared the two students brought in as deceased.
