An earthquake of magnitude 3.8 occurred near Shillong, Meghalaya, India on December 8, 2023, at 8:46:56 IST.
The earthquake was centered 18 kilometers southwest of Shillong and had a depth of 14 kilometers.
The National Center for Seismology (NCS) is monitoring the situation and will provide updates as they become available.
