GUWAHATI:
Two senior journalists from Meghalaya- Bhabok M Laloo and Ribha Merry Suchiang are among the seven senior journalists who will be presented with the USTM Media Achiever Award-2022 on the occasion of Media Conclave-2022 to be held at the USTM campus on July 8.
Bhabok M. Laloo is the Assistant Editor of U Peitngor, Shillong, while Ribha Merry Suchiang is a journalist at Batesi TV, Shillong.
Besides them, two veteran journalists from Assam – Anuradha Sarma Puzari and Pranay Bordoloi will also receive the USTM Media Excellence Award-2022 on the occasion.
Puzari is the renowned author and editor of an Assamese weekly “Sadin” and Pranay Bordoloi is the Editor-in-Chief, DA News Plus.
Anuradha Sarma Puzari is the recipient of Sahitya Akademi Award in 2021 and Kumar Kishore Award of Asam Sahitya Sabha, while Pranay Bordoloi is a veteran journalist working for more than 30 years in news media who was conferred the prestigious Parag Kumar Das Award for Journalism in 2018.
The USTM Media Achiever Award-2022 would also be handed over to Ritushmin Sarma, Editor of Time8; Manash Pratim Dutta, staff reporter, The Assam Tribune; Manash Pratim Deka, Assistant News Editor at ND24 and Tora Agarwala, Assistant Editor & NE Correspondent, Indian Express, Guwahati.
