As part of the preparations for the upcoming Meghalaya Assembly election 2023, leaders of the United Democratic Party (UDP) met in Nongpoh, Ri Bhoi on February 7, and deliberated on various agendas related to the polls.
The meeting, aimed at strengthening the party in the region, was attended by minister Kyrmen Shylla, UDP state general secretary Jemino Mawthoh, Ri Bhoi District UDP president Donbok Khymdeit, and working president Donkupar Sumer, among others.
During the meeting, party leaders discussed how to garner more support from the people in the different circles and units enrolled in five Assembly constituency of the district. The party will table a detailed report on the same at the UDP’s general council meeting to be held soon.
