NONGPOH:
Villagers found a decapitated head of an unidentified male at the banks of the Umiam lake on March 7.
The villagers informed the police who immediately rushed to the spot and took the head into possession before taking it to Nongpoh Civil Hospital for post-mortem.
A further search is being conducted to locate the remaining body parts and a suo moto case has been taken up in connection to the case.
