SHILLONG:
The Voice of People Party (VPP) has welcomed the neutral panel of the Expert Committee constituted to review the State Reservation Policy (SRP), and informed that the party has no issues as long as the panel is rational in its work.
Speaking to media persons on August 28, VPP Spokesperson Batskhem Myrboh said, “As long as they do their job well, we don’t have any problem, and also given the fact that the SRP is a sensitive matter, we believe that panel members from neutral community will do their job well.”
He said that the party will see the background of the experts, and will come up with a statement if there is anything to be stated, but as of now the VPP has no problem with the Committee.
