The 7th Ayurveda Day will be celebrated world-wide on October 23 under the theme “Har Din Har Ghar Ayurveda” meaning “Ayurveda Everyday Ayurveda Everywhere” which aims to disseminate the knowledge amongst the people about the importance of Ayurveda in leading a healthy life.
To celebrate the 7th Ayurveda Day various activities were organised from September 12 and it will conclude on October 23.
Keeping in view the theme of Ayurveda Day, activities were conducted under 3-Js – Jan Sandesh, Jan Bhagidari and Jan Aandolan activities on issues like Ayurveda for Holistic Health, Ayurveda for Millennials, Ayurveda Aahar (Grains, millets/Rules), Ayurveda for Senior Citizens, Ayurveda for Mental Wellbeing and Ayurveda- Sharing of Experiences were held.
Dr. Neeta Mahesekar, Director of North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda and Homoeopathy (NEIAH) said that the Ayush sector is rapidly growing and various career opportunities are emerging in various fields like food and medicine industries, academia, public health, research, tourism, services.
