YBSC Shella defeated Azariah FC 1-0 in extra time to storm into the final of the Wahiajer Football Tournament organised by Wahiajer Sports Club.
It was a closely fought game between the two teams, while there was not much to talk about the attacking front, the defence did a fine job for both the teams, keeping the score sheet clean for most of the time in the match.
With both teams failed to hit the net at the end of the full-time.
The match went on to the extra time and in the first half, Raiki Shadap wearing jersey number 77, scored the solitary goal of the game to take YBSC Shella home. For his match-winning performance, Raiki Shadap was awarded the man-of-the-match award.
The final of the coveted tournament will be played on April 6 between Ehrngiew FC and YBSC Shella FC at 12 pm at the same venue, Wahiajer Mini Stadium. Sniawbhalang Dhar, MLA 1 Nartiang constituency will be the chief guest for the closing ceremony.
