A youth lost his life due to negligence from the North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences Institute (NEIGRIHMS) on July 23.
According to sources, the youth identified as Suraj Prasad Gupta was brought to NEIGRIHMS after he met with an accident at Umiam.
WATCH:
It was alleged that Suraj was alive when he was brought to the hospital, and was speaking and in senses till about 4 hours, however, no doctor could attend to him despite repeated request from his friends.
It was alleged that the friends repeatedly asked for help, however, no doctor or medical staff attended to him, thus leading to his death.
