At least 15 passengers were injured on Sunday when a bus lost control and fell into a ditch in South Garo Hills. The incident happened at 9 AM in the Siju-Adura area.
The public bus left the south Garo Hills district headquarters in Baghmara in the morning for the town of Krishnai, near Dudhnoi, in Assam when the mishap happened.
The left spring component of the bus is said to have snapped while the bus was in motion leading to the loss of control of the vehicle by the driver which resulted in overturning.
