State journo wins Red Ink Awards 2022

The Red Ink Awards are a set of awards given by the Mumbai Press Club in India annually to recognize excellence in journalistic works ranging in TV, print and digital formats.

SHILLONG:

Journalist and owner of Meghalaya based T7 news channel Dominic Savio Diengdoh and Tridip Kanti Mandal, a senior journalist from The Quint have both won the Red Ink Awards 2022 in the Environment (TV) category, for their documentary titled How a Village in Meghalaya fought against Uranium mining.

They won the award under the Environment (TV) category.

The Red Ink Awards are a set of awards given by the Mumbai Press Club in India annually to recognize excellence in journalistic works ranging in TV, print and digital formats. Awards are based on categories which include politics, human rights, business, sports, health and wellness, environment, entertainment and lifestyle, Women Empowerment & Gender Equality, the Big Picture.

The previous winner from the state was editor of Highland Post Rikynti Marwein under the ‘Politics’ category.
