Ampareen Lyngdoh holds zonal review meeting in Jowai

The minister interacted with MLAs, medical officers, health officials and ASHAs to understand the current state of health care of both the districts and also discuss on possible solutions.

SHILLONG:

Cabinet Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh, on July 6, held a zonal meeting with the health department, agriculture and horticulture department, and research department of Jaintia Hills districts, at Soil and Water Conservation Office, Mihmyntdu, West Jaintia Hills district to discuss the various health issues and assess the progress of ongoing projects.

The minister interacted with MLAs, medical officers, health officials and ASHAs to understand the current state of health care of both the districts and also discuss on possible solutions.

Lyngdoh also held a meeting with agriculture, horticulture and research officers of the District and Local Research Station and Laboratory to discuss the progress of the ongoing projects. The officers presented the schemes related to agriculture, horticulture and research highlighting the work being done and the outcome.

The MLAs who attended the meeting were Wailadmiki Shylla of Jowai; Nujorki Sungoh of Mowkaiaw; Lahkmen Rymbui of Amlarem; and Santa Mary Shylla of Sutnga- Saipung.
