SHILLONG:
The State Cabinet, on December 20, approved the amendment to the Meghalaya Minor Minerals Reclamation Fund Management guidelines 2022 where the agencies eligible to implement the funds were enhanced.
“Earlier, there were nine agencies which could implement the funds. We have added the Biodiversity Board,” the CM said on Tuesday.
The Cabinet also approved the amendment to the Meghalaya Building (Amendment) Bye-laws 2022.
Besides, he informed that the Cabinet has also approved the notification for the Meghalaya Professions Trades Callings & Employment Taxation Rules.
“There are long list of details and it will not be possible for me to go through all of them as they are highly technical in nature. We will prepare a small note on that,” Sangma said.
