SHILLONG:
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma informed on Friday that Health Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh was visiting Tura for a different purpose. “She was there for an official visit to review the health department, the MLAs and officials were supposed to be there,” he said.
However as some bikes were spotted going around with black flags, the decision was made to call the concerned minister back, the Chief Minister informed.
The Health Minister had to cut her visit short and return back to Shillong on the 21st of July as she was receiving flak for her comments about winter capital.
