SHILLONG:
National People’s Youth Front (NPYF) Shillong City, on July 21, organised a felicitation programme for UPSC rank holder Swapnil Bhattacharya, including the Class 10 and Class 12 toppers at U Soso Tham Auditorium in Shillong.
To encourage the youth to explore opportunities through their educational triumphs, an interactive session with Swapnil Bhattacharya, the meritorious students engaged in a Q&A session with him.
Certificates and mementos were handed over to the Swapnil and over 40 meritorious students by Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma.
“This event is not just a mere felicitation programme but it recognises the potential of the youth who will one day be the role models of the state,” the chief minister said.
Other dignitaries present at the occasion were Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar, MDC Bajoplang Pyngrope, and NPYF President Nicky Nongkhlaw, among others.
