TURA:
Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has decided to meet with the protesting Garo groups on July 24 in the conference hall of Tura circuit house from 1:30 pm.
West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Jagdish Chelani informed that the chief minister will be visiting Tura on July 24 to engage in discussions and listen to various matters and grievances concerning civil society members of Garo Hills, such as the implementation of roaster system and demand for winter capital with the interest groups, NGOs and pressure groups.
NGOs and social groups wishing to participate in the meeting have been asked to submit their application with necessary details to the deputy commissioner before the deadline of 8 PM on July 22.
