SHILLONG:
Emergency Responders Kits (ERKs) were distributed to AAPDA Mitra Volunteers from different villages under Ri Bhoi District by the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Ri Bhoi, on April 25.
The Kits were handed over to the youths by Deputy Commissioner of Ri Bhoi distrct Arpit Upadhyay in presence of Abhishek Saini, Assistant Commissioner, Ri Bhoi, M B Tongper Addl. Deputy Commissioner, officials of DDMA, Nongpoh, and others.
More than 100 volunteers, including those who completed their training in the year 2022 received the KITS as part of disaster management programme.
