The Anti Narcotic Task Force (ANTF) of the West Jaintia Hills Police seized drugs worth Rs 76 lakhs from two vehicles and arrested four persons, including a woman on February 9.
According to police, the vehicles were intercepted under Raliang OP Naka after an early morning operation, and upon thorough checking Contraband weighing 152 grams concealed in 13 soap boxes were seized from a vehicle bearing Assam number, along with Rs. 52,550 cash, and three mobile phones.
Meanwhile, a case under appropriate section of law has been registered against the arrested persons and further investigation is ongoing.
