Mawkyrwat:
Residents of Mawkyrwat in South West Khasi Hills on Tuesday, hit out at the Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited (MeCCL) over the frequent load shedding.
The load shedding is affecting their businesses, as they are not being able to use their computers, DTP work, welding works and others.
The residents also complained that their domestic activities including cooking are being affected due to hours-long power cut.
The people have sought explanation from the authorities of the MeCCL as to why the energy corporation in the state had to resort to load shedding.
