A Garo organisation based out of Williamnagar in East Garo Hills — Niksamso Garo Community Organisation staged an office picketing of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) on June 14, in support of their demands on various issues.
Some of the demands highlighted by the pressure group are service rules and finance rules for the council, clearance of employees’ salaries that are pending for over 2 years, among others.
