Shillong:
Indian Army is set to organise an ex-servicemen rally on February 15 at the Regimental Centre, Happy Valley, Shillong.
To be organised in collaboration with Rajya Sainik Board, Meghalaya, the rally is aimed at celebrating the Army veterans of the state who have rendered selfless service to the Indian Defence Forces. The rally will also focus on addressing grievances of ex-servicemen and have medical camps for the veterans.
Another key focus of the rally is to enlighten the veterans about several welfare schemes provided by the Indian Defence Forces and the Centre.
State Government of Meghalaya, Indian Army and Rajya Sainik Board have heartily extended their invitation to all veterans requesting them to participate in the rally in large numbers.
