SHILLONG:
Sports Minister Shakliar Warjri, on March 23, told the House on the fourth day of the budget session that the physical progress of the Jawaharlal Nehru (JN) Stadium at Polo Grounds in Shillong is at 85 per cent in Phase I and under Phase II, the progress is at 20 per cent.
Replying to a question raised by Nongpoh MLA Mayralborn Syiem, Warjri said that the financial progress for Phase I is at 75 per cent while for Phase II, it is currently nil.
The JN Stadium is undergoing a complete makeover since last year.
