Man buried alive under waste in Marten, rescue operation under way

Marwein, originally from Mawkyrwat, resided in Mawiong with his wife and two children. He had come to Marten after collecting waste from the city and was planning to gather scrap when the garbage dump suddenly collapsed, burying him.

A 30-year-old man named Marshal Marwein was reportedly buried alive in Marten today. The rescue operation is currently underway, but as of now, Marwein has not been found. The unfortunate incident happened around noon when an enormous pile of garbage collapsed on him at the landfill site.

Marwein, originally from Mawkyrwat, resided in Mawiong with his wife and two children. He had come to Marten after collecting waste from the city and was planning to gather scrap when the garbage dump suddenly collapsed, burying him.

The ongoing rescue efforts aim to locate and extricate Marwein from the debris.
