Meghalaya BJP announces names of new Executive Committee

BJP Meghalaya state president Rikman Momin, who announced the names, informed that the new EC comprises of six State Vice Presidents namely Bernard Marak (Tura City), Khrawboklang Basaiawmoit (East Khasi Hills), Wankitbok Pohshna ( East Khasi Hills), Dipul R Marak (South West Garo Hills), Gagan Jain (Shillong City) and Riya Sangma (Ri Bhoi District).

After a delay of almost two months since the election of the new state president, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Meghalaya Pradesh, on November 27, announced the new Executive Committee (EC) that has been approved by the national leaders.

BJP Meghalaya state president Rikman Momin, who announced the names, informed that the new EC comprises of six State Vice Presidents namely Bernard Marak (Tura City), Khrawboklang Basaiawmoit (East Khasi Hills), Wankitbok Pohshna ( East Khasi Hills), Dipul R Marak (South West Garo Hills), Gagan Jain (Shillong City) and Riya Sangma (Ri Bhoi District).

Likewise, Dr. Evarist Myrsing (Ri-Bhoi) and Er. Lakhon Biam (West Jaintia Hills) have been elected as State General Secretaries.

The new EC also has six State Secretaries Hakabiang Lyngdoh (West Jaintia Hills), Bernadette Lyngdoh (East Khasi Hills), Adamkid Sangma (Tura City), Brivia Thabah (East Khasi Hills), Premananda Koch (South West Garo Hills) and Er. Bipen Pradhan (Shillong City).

Apart from the above-mentioned names, Sarwan Jhunjhunwala has been appointed as the state treasurer and Sukhi Pariat has been appointed as the Mahila Morcha State President.
