SHILLONG:
The MIT University of Meghalaya donated a garbage truck to the Dorbar Shnong of Mawkasiang during a programme held at Umroh community playground on May 13.
Vice Chancellor of MIT University, Dr. Malhar Pangrikar, was the guest of honour for the day, as he entrusted the truck to the community of Mawkasiang.
The event was hosted by the community secretary, W. Chyne in presence of Mawkasiang Headman, Tishalding Kharkangor, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr. D. Bhattacharya, along with the community members of the Mawkasiang.
