Paul Lyngdoh acknowledges Tura violence could have been contained

He also mentioned that a high-level investigation has been launched by the Home Police department to look into the matter.

SHILLONG:
Social Welfare Minister Paul Lyngdoh, on July 27, admitted  to the fact that the intensity and the scale of violence in Tura that unfolded on Monday could be contained.
He also mentioned that a high-level investigation has been launched by the Home Police department to look into the matter.
He stated, “A lot of it will be unearthed as the probe comes up with its final matter.”
Lyngdoh was talking about the violence that unfolded in Tura on Monday where-in the Director general of Police had stated that there also was a conspiracy to murder the Chief Minister.
