SHILLONG:
After a few miscreants attacked Mahadev Khola temple in Shillong on Monday, a Twitter account that goes by the name Legal Rights Observatory- LRO had tweeted alleging that the Khasi Students Union (KSU) had been a part of the attack.
Social Welfare Minister, Paul Lyngdoh calling the group irresponsible stated, “They probably have the intent to give this issue a communal colour and to malign the image of Meghalaya.”
The KSU had filed an FIR against the mentioned Twitter account for defaming the union.
