Positive Energy Art Foundation inks MoU with 7 Thai Universities

The participating institutions include the Faculty of Decorative Arts, Silpakorn University; Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Thammasat University; Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University; Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Bangkokthonburi University; Office of Arts and Culture Phuket Rajabhat University; Faculty of Fine Arts, Bunditpatanasilpa Institute of Fine Arts; and School of Informatics, Walailak University.

In a significant stride towards the advancement of global art education and cultural exchange, Positive Energy Art Foundation inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with seven universities in Thailand on December 16.

The participating institutions include the Faculty of Decorative Arts, Silpakorn University; Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Thammasat University; Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University; Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Bangkokthonburi University; Office of Arts and Culture Phuket Rajabhat University; Faculty of Fine Arts, Bunditpatanasilpa Institute of Fine Arts; and School of Informatics, Walailak University.

This collaborative agreement aims to foster a mutual exchange of knowledge and resources, with a joint commitment to developing global human resources and advancing the field of art for diverse segments of society.

The MOU was formally signed today, at the Faculty of Decorative Arts, Silpakorn University, Thailand. The ceremony was attended by key figures, including Prakash Kishore, Founder and Director of Positive Energy Art Foundation; Dr Nawat Lertsawaengkit, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arts, Silpakorn University (also serving as the Honorary Director of Positive Energy Art Foundation); and Dr Thanatorn Jiarakun, Dean of the Faculty of Decorative Arts, Silpakorn University. Deans and representatives from the other collaborating universities were also present to commemorate this momentous occasion.

Positive Energy Art Foundation, dedicated to working closely with national and international educational institutions and organisations, aims to strengthen the art community on both a state and country level. With a vision to serve society, the foundation has committed to engaging in various art activities in collaboration with local, national, and international partners, solidifying its role in the global art landscape.

Headquartered in Shillong, it is also concerned about the uplift of tribal communities and promoting their unique art, craft and indigenous personal skills.
