Protest against solid waste management held in Ri Bhoi’s Nongthymmai

The villagers have been staging similar protests demanding a shift of the project’s site to a location outside of Ri Bhoi.

NONGPOH:

Reiterating their stance against the proposed solid waste management project sanctioned at Mawlwai village, residents of Raid Madan Kyrdem in Eastern Ri Bhoi District staged a protest against the state-sponsored project at Nongthymmai village, on February 19.
