Nongstoin:
Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong announced that Rambrai Jyrngam constituency will soon get its new Community and Rural Development Block.
Addressing a general meeting of the National People’s Party (NPP) at Rambrai, Tynsong said that the government will create two C&RD Blocks in the constituency.
He added that since Rambrai Jyrngma is a vast constituency it is not enough to have only one block office in Rambrai area but Jyrngam in Langpih area also needs one.
Besides the C&RD Block, he also announced plans to set up a new PWD Division in Mawshynrut Civil Sub-Division.
Meanwhile, the general meeting of the NPP appointed Rambrai Jyrngam MDC Bajop Pyngrope as its working president of NPP Rambrai Block.
The meeting was also attended by Macmillan Byrsat, Nongstoin MLA, Gigur Myrthong, Mawshynrut MLA, Rakkam A Sangma MLA Siju Rongara, Lamphrang Blah Mawphlang MDC and NPP supporters from the constituency.
