Health Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh, on October 13, gave an update on Dengue cases in the state informing that one person has died due to Dengue, and the state has till now reported 55 cases.
Speaking to media persons, Lyngdoh urged the public to get themselves tested at the nearest health centers if they experience prolonged fever for many days.
Stating that the government is not anticipating cases to grow further, the health minister informed that on October 12, seven tests were conducted, of which only two turned out to be positive.
“We are containing the disease, and we have had 44 cases from October 3 till yesterday. We tested about 139 fever cases,” she said.
