Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Mukul Sangma, on September 15, stated that the party will decide about the candidates and seats to be contested for the Lok Sabha (LS) elections at an appropriate time and forum.
“With the dynamics of political development, every decision will be taken based on what happens across the nation,” Sangma said.
Asked about the I.N.D.I.A alliance, and if TMC as part of the alliance will have common candidates for the polls, Sangma clarified that political dynamics that will unfold ahead of the polls will determine candidates’ selection and seats to be contested.
“It will be premature for us to assume and respond to your queries as it will be considered more of an anticipation. So let’s wait for the right time,” Sangma maintained.
