Vanity in Bangkok

Hundreds of paintings by more than a hundred artists from ten other countries participated in the exhibition.

SHILLONG:

A painting titled Vanity was put on display at the inter-disciplinary art exhibition ‘Where The Mind is without Fear’ was held at BTU Gallery, Bangkok, Thailand. The painting was painted by Raphael Warjri.

 Hundreds of paintings by more than a hundred artists from ten other countries participated in the exhibition, with thirty artists from India, including Dr. Prakash Kishore, curator of the Exhibition, Raphael Warjri, Benedict S Hynniewta, Naphisabiang Khongwir, Dipankar Sinha and Divesh Baruah from Meghalaya.

The art exhibition was graced by Vipul Pawar, head of Chancery, Embassy of India, Mohammad Abdul Hye, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Thailand, Suchat Thaothong, President of BFA, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts,  Mathasit Addok, Dean of Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Bangkokthanburi University, Suriya Chayacharoen, Director of BTU gallery, as the distinguished guest.
