TURA:
All schools in North Garo Hills district will remain closed on Friday, June 16, due to prevailing bad weather conditions.
The order was issued by the Deputy Commissioner and Chairman of the District Disaster Management Authority, North Garo Hills, as per the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
The decision to close the schools was taken keeping the safety and welfare of the students as topmost priority.
The weather department has forecast heavy rainfall and thunderstorm for the next few days, and the authorities are taking precautionary measures.
