NPP leaders demand action against accused involved in attacking Ampareen

Leaders of the National People’s Party (NPP), including members from the youth wing, Shillong city and the women’s wing, East Khasi Hills district, on July 12, condemned the attack on senior party leader and cabinet minister Ampareen Lyngdoh on July 11 evening.

The NPP leaders have decided to write to Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma, who is also the national president of the NPP, and also to the deputy chief minister incharge Home (Police) Prestone Tynsong to direct the police to severely punish the accused, who was arrested by the police last night.
