I am not afraid and continue to be the voice of people: Ampareen

“I am not afraid and will continue to work hard, continue to speak and be the voice of the people of Meghalaya,” Lyngdoh told media persons on July 12.

Cabinet Minister Ampareen Lyngdoh who was attacked by an unknown miscreant on July 11 evening has appealed to the people to support her as such targeted attacks will not intimidate her, and she will continue to be the voice of the people.

“I am not afraid and will continue to work hard, continue to speak and be the voice of the people of Meghalaya,” Lyngdoh told media persons on July 12.

Stating that she is a little shaken by the incident, but will get over it and remain stern in her duties.

Lyngdoh said that some people may not like her, and she cannot comment on the status of the person’s mind who attacked her.

Cautioning the public to be alert, she said that there are all kinds of characters walking in the street these days.

Giving derails, Lyngdoh said that the cops are doing their job, and the same person attacked her before the elections.
