Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary celebrates Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in Assam

As the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign echoes across Assam, forest guards of Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary celebrates Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate 75 years of Indian Independence, on August 14.

The authority organised a rally riding on elephants’ backs waving the National Flag. The panoramic scene of this rally captivated everyone.

Assam chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma took to Twitter and wrote, ”तिरंगा हमारी शान #HarGharTiranga echoes across Assam A majestic view as our forest guards at Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary proudly carry #Tiranga on elephants We salute the indomitable spirit of these brave caretakers of our flora & fauna. जय हिंद, जय भारत (sic).”
